Cleanliness Level
The air cleanliness requirements for cosmetic cleanrooms are relatively high, usually reaching ISO 7 or ISO 8 levels (100,000 levels). For workshops producing eye skin care, baby and children’s skin care cosmetics, the air cleanliness of the filling room and clean container storage room should reach 300,000 levels. Other areas such as laboratories, raw material rooms, semi-finished product storage rooms, filling rooms, inner packaging disinfection storage rooms and dressing rooms should adopt air cleanliness standards of 100,000 levels and above.
Regional Division Requirements
Cosmetics production workshops are usually divided into clean areas, auxiliary clean areas and non-clean areas:
1. Clean areas: including weighing room, batching room, semi-finished product storage room, filling room, packaging room, container cleaning, container disinfection and drying, container storage room, etc.
2. Auxiliary clean areas: such as changing rooms, hand washing and disinfection rooms, etc.
3. Non-clean areas: including raw material warehouses, finished product warehouses, office areas, power machine rooms, etc.
Equipment Configuration Requirements
The cosmetics cleanroom needs to be equipped with high-efficiency air purification systems, ultraviolet disinfection lamps or ozone disinfection machines to ensure air quality and a sterile environment. The floor should be made of anti-static and easy-to-clean materials, such as PVC floors, and the walls should be made of easy-to-clean, dust-free, and non-toxic materials, such as stainless steel plates. In addition, the production workshop should be equipped with sufficient lighting equipment to ensure a bright environment in the production area.
Personnel Management Needs
Before entering the clean area, employees need to change clothes and disinfect, wear clean clothes and shoe covers, and pass through the air purification system. During the production process, employees must strictly abide by hygiene regulations and disinfect their hands regularly to ensure the cleanliness of the production environment.
